The Indian state of Punjab is celebrated worldwide for its music, whole-heartedness, and of course, its extraordinary food. Punjabi cuisine represents some of the best North Indian delicacies — dishes that leave you yearning for more long after the last bite.
Authentic Punjabi cooking is characterised by large, generous servings of ghee, butter, and fresh cream, making it one of the richest and most nutrient-packed cuisines of India. But it is more than richness — it is soul.
At Mini Panjab, we honour that tradition. Every dish that leaves our kitchen carries the same care and authenticity that Punjabi grandmothers have passed down through generations. We opened at 34 Veerasamy Road to bring a little piece of Punjab to the streets of Singapore.
The Tandoor
Fire, Clay, Flavour
Authentic Punjabi food stands out for its use of the tandoor — a traditional clay oven fired to intense heat. This ancient cooking method gives our breads their pillowy char and our meats their deeply smoky, caramelised exterior.
Nothing is rushed. Our tandoor is lit every morning and held at temperature throughout the day, ensuring each item is cooked exactly as tradition demands.
